Hope Community Church belongs to a Protestant denomination called the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).

The EFCA is an association of churches united around the same Biblical beliefs. (To view our doctrinal statement click on the link below)

"In essentials, unity.  In non-essentials, charity.  In all things, Jesus Christ."

After rising from the dead, Jesus gave his followers (his disciples) a command:  "Go and make disciples of all nations..."  (Matthew 28:19-20)  In other words, "Now you know Someone who conquers even death!  Show and tell this good news to people from all nations...it will give them hope!"   We see this as our mission.

In trying to accomplish this mission...We seek to honor Jesus Christ in everything we do, fostering a united community of people who truly love and care for one another.

Believing all people are created by God, in His image, and are therefore infinitely valuable...we endeavor to develop meaningful relationships with others, realizing that racial, ethnic, religious, economic and all other social barriers must be intentionally overcome.

Finally we believe that showing the love of Christ opens the doors to declaring the love of Christ.
